Palms Down is a group of African-American percussionists who have studied West African rhythms as well as those of other African-based cultures. Our goal is to provide a source for traditional West African rhythms as well as our own blend of Afro-cultural music. Our CDs are designed to be used as a source of pure listening pleasure as well as accompaniment for teachers, dancers and choreographers.
