ralief pablo prosper, better known by the stage name "pablo p" was born on the caribbean island of dominica and has been playing music all his life. "pablo p" has created a loyal following throughout the islands of the caribbean such as; the dominican republic, st. thomas, st. john, the virgin islands before being discovered by the "fiddler" dick solberg of the sun mountain band. after relocating to new york city, usa in the mid 1970's, "pablo p" began performing and touring with such world music groups as; waxpower vibrations, descendant's band, cool sessions, natural roots as well as the sun mountain band. in 2002 "pablo p" was moved to form the current world music group, "roots and reality featuring pablo p" which has performed around the country promoting their new cd entitled "pray". this group is currently in the studio recording their next project entitled "time dread" scheduled for release october 2004. please, take time to enjoy the meditative melodies, prophetic lyrics and the musical style of a traditional, yet original world music veteran.
