I am Jean C Petion born in Port-Au-Prince,Haiti. I have been playing music for over forty years. I atteended Miami-Dade Community College in Miami Florida(USA),where I studied the combination of musical notes and arranngements. I specialized myself in horn arrangements,guitar arrangements and drum arrangements. I have done horn arrangements for two of the top haitian bands such as Magnum band and Odyssey band; these bands also are interpreting my musical compositions. As a free-lance musician I played with many bands such as jazz bands,blues bands,salsa bands,calypso bands,meringue bands,rock bands,funk bands,country bands,compas bands,tchaka bands and Spice Roots In 1983 which was the first reggae band grouped in Miami Florida.
