Wayne Stoute is from Trinidad, Andre and Ross Whiteman are from Grenada. All three are familiar with the Jab Jab, a devilish carnival character of the Caribbean islands that is more mischievous than evil. Like many other masqueraders at carnival time, they smear themselves with black oil, and don horns to play at being the "diable" (French for devil). This street jester's mock seriousness and daring antics have always thrilled the members of the group. After they had emigrated to New York city from their respective islands, they were inspired to use the name Jab Jab for their new band. This guitar, bass, and drum playing outfit surrounds itself with horns, keyboards, percussion, and background vocalists. Their musical menu offers a mix of the afro sounds of the Caribbean with the Trinidadian style of Calypso and Soca most prominent. Jab Jab's style also includes sounds and flavours from the African continent. The band attracts a diverse following. The typical Jab Jab fan is often a person with global values and tastes. He/She is open to new experiences and is curious about culture and diversity. Check out the artist's website: http://www.jabjabmusic.com Track List: 1. Wine 2. Doh Try Dat 3. Rev it Up 4.
