Owen Plant is a dynamic solo acoustic artist out of Boston who writes, arranges and performs touching original acoustic pop with a danceable upbeat Caribbean flavor. He has toured up and down the east coast, packing rooms from Vermont to Key West. Fans of David Byrne, Beck, Ben Harper and Dave Matthews discover and fall in love with Owen's sound. Owen was exposed to Caribbean music on the island of Jamaica, where he was born and raised, but came of age as an artist in the U.S. His music incorporates his vibrant heritage and echoes the styles of music greats Paul Simon, Bob Marley and James Taylor, singer/songwriters who also went beyond acoustic-only music.
