Bio’s Eyal Rivlin Though born in the blistering heat of Israel's Jordan Valley, Eyal Rivlin's heart seems to spring from Renaissance Europe. His passion for celebrating music, dance, science, and spiritual growth led him from the Tel Aviv music scene on a pilgrimage of discovery through Europe and India to the United States, and a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University. For years, Eyal played hide-and-seek with God, until finally learning to surrender to the Divine sound of each moment. Now, happily centered in Boulder, Colorado, Eyal inspires joy through performing teaching and facilitating musical events, playing with world fusion ensembles, and leading evenings of ecstatic Hebrew chanting. Sheldon Sands Composer, keyboardist and producer Sheldon Sands received his B.A. in Music from Naropa University in 1985. His debut CD of original work, Across Many Oceans, was released in 1995. During an artistic residency in Israel, Sheldon composed music inspired by his Jewish roots and the history, landscape and unique convergence of cultures in the Middle East. These instrumental compositions became the highly acclaimed Dead Sea Strolls (Shalhevet Productions 2002), recorded with a group of distinguished Israeli and Palestinian musicians.
