Meredith McFadden invites you on your own journey to the cornerstones of ancient/future/visionary belongings. She has been writing songs since age 15, and always sensed the voice was her truest healing tool. With 18 years teaching and performing experience, i.e. numerous lead roles and directorships, Meredith continues to explore and research the healing power of the voice, as well as, the essential beauty and renewal the vocal arts bring. She delights in enticing the world to find its true voice...and recording these explorations is a dream come true.

McFadden launched her celebratory album, Saturday, May 21, 2005. This is a compilation of original and traditional songs and is an honoring of her ancestral heritage. The album is a mixture of percussive, and lyrical songs, fusing her Native American roots and rhythms along with Celtic lilting, phrasing, and melodic ornamentation. Her vocal art is also supported by, guitar, keyboards, Irish and Pennywhistles, cello, and bass.

“When Meredith sings, I don’t hear an ancient voice. I hear an ancient calling that’s been WAITING for a millennia to be sounded!” Barbara Bruce
