The one and only band of its kind in Florida - all native West African pop group, Wassalou, is a unique talent that is an important addition to the North American cultural landscape. Their level of musicianship is unmatched in this country. Repertoire includes Hi-Life, Afro 6/8, Soukous and other popular African dance music similar to that which can be heard on Paul Simon's Graceland album.
