From the backside of the mountain comes an anoited jewel! Groomed for such a time as this, Travis Staggs, a man waiting in the balances for God to release before the world as an honorable, musical vessel. As a husband and father of four, he and his wife, Desiree, have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare Travis for world-wide ministry because he knows that's where God is calling him. His first project "AVAILABLE", which was completed in February of 2004, consists of ten-uplifting tracks that exemplifies Travis' empowered, yet smooth-like vocal prowess. On tracks "IT IS ENOUGH" and "PSALMS 61" Travis reveals his passion to please God as well as his purpose to minister which, in turn, is profitable in paving the way for other young gospel artists in the same arena who realize that the industry is still a ministry and not just another way on stage to gain wealth. On other tracks such as "KEEP ON BLESSING ME" and "RAIN", Travis intertwines worship with a hint of R&B flavor. Reviewers have said that this project is easy listening and will be very favorable in the marketplace. Since completion, Travis has been ministering on such events as gospel stage plays, local church programs, outdoor outreach events, and mini-concerts; however, more notably, on a program featuring the Ambassador of Zimbabwe, the Affinity Music's National Showcase. Also he was a finalist for the 2005 Male Vocalist of The Year at the American Gospel Music Awards. Travis also ministerd on The Kingdom Dream conference with world renowed Praise and Worship Leader Dr. Ron Kenoly. Travis is now the Praise and Worship leader at The Worship Center where Tyshawn Staggs serves as his Pastor. Travis knows that his ministry will flourish through patience, faith, humility, consistency and virtue.
