Brandell E Betts was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and also a former resident of the Ida B. Wells projects. He is the grandson of Pastor J.P. Hadnott of House of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. So he has a strong church background and a strong faith in GOD. In addition to that he is the older brother of professional recording artist, Jessica(You Can't Resist). So a love for music runs in the family. Being a former all-american he love baseball, basketball, and football. Through sports he has learned what hard work and determination is all about. He has managed to utilize that same hardwork and determination by pursuing his career as a recording artist. The soulful recording artist has been motivated by many.
