Alison David is a long awaited touch on your heart. Her powerful voice, which can be both sweet and hard hitting, conveys a message of encouragement. Her songs are about facing your difficulties and forging ahead to your dreams, reminding us that LOVE is the underlying reason for living. Alison comes from a collaborative background with such bands as Red Snapper, Mellow, Ashley Beedle and the Black Science Orchestra to name but a few. Her ability to make you dance and make you cry are also added to the fact she might tickle you with her naughty lyrics and banter when you experience her live. Her debut solo album, Believe, is a collection of her recordings up until 2005 when she realised that if she spent her life waiting for 'that perfect sound' and 'that perfect deal', people may never get to share her music. With the help of some teenage school boys on a Young Enterprise business scheme, she put this album into production.
