SAGE: a dynamic eight piece band whose varied styles and versatile musicians exhibit a professional, balanced, well rounded musical experience. SAGE is a collection of seasoned performers who have been entertaining audiences at nightclubs, concerts, dances, weddings, company parties, class reunions and several other special events for many years. Such past clients as Cisco, Hewlett/Packard, Apple Computer, Intel, IBM, Bank of America, Stanford University, Kodak, Harrah's Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Paramount's Great America, Saturn, Sun Microsystems, and others have affirmed the fact that SAGE has the ability to satisfy a wide range of audiences. Hundreds of engagements from Los Angeles to Alaska translate into thousands of successful performance hours for SAGE. Sage released their debut album, King of the Avenues, on July 1, 2002. This new album of contemporary R&B dance music contains 12 original songs written and produced by all eight members of the band. With a mixture of keyboards, drums, guitars, horns and vocals, Sage produces and extraordinary crowd-pleasing sound. SAGE also performs selections from the current Top 40 charts reflecting such artists as Chicago, Huey Lewis, Kenny Loggins, Steve Windwood, Steely Dan, Tower of Power, Paul Simon and Phil Collins. Many popular hits of the past are also included during the performance. Standard 'Big Band' style arrangements to the favorite 'Motown' rhythm & blues flavored songs add to the diversity of musical selections to please any audience.
