It all started in the year 1992 in the acoustic stairwells of West Georgia College. Amid the advent of new talents such as Boyz2Men, Jodeci, R. Kelly, and Shai four aspiring young singers came together and formed the group DISTINCTION. Right from the start the group's blend made them destined to be heard. During a transition through the years the group of four became two and a new group was born...RUFUS&DAVIN! The group's passionate blend of harmony relaxes the soul while the original lyrics grabs the attention of the listener. Their sound not only covers R&B, but also covers soft Rock and contemporary gospel. RUFUS&DAVIN! live performances have ranged from local radio station appearances to Hosea feed the Homeless, local clubs and NAACP fashion show. With all the great talent in Atlanta RUFUS&DAVIN maintains its identity free of categorization.
