Ruby Baker began singing at age seven while still attending grammar school. Her mother, sensing that Ruby was inherently gifted, immediately involved her with the church choir. It was during this time that Ruby, precocious as ever, was to discover her true artistic milieu - jazz, standards, and rhythm and blues. Her lofty ambition was met with seemingly no resistance, evidenced by her first professional concert at age ten, sharing the stage with legendary blues guitarist B.B. King. From that moment to the present, Ruby has earned a wealth of meritorious credits worldwide.

Ruby has performed the American National Anthem on behalf of the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Heat, the Florida Marlins, and the Florida Panthers. She has performed with famed singer Gloria Estefan on a number of international tours, in addition to providing the opening entertainment for legendary acts Ray Charles, The Four Tops, Regina Belle, Bobby Womack and The Bee Gees. Exclusive command performances for international business entities such as MCI, Federal Express, the Disney Corporation, Mercedes Benz, and Estee Lauder have only furthered Ruby's hard-earned reputation as one of the most valuable female vocalists performing today.

In South Florida, Ruby's rendition of the National Anthem has placed her at the top of the local Limelights on behalf of the Miami Dolphins, Miami heat, Florida Marlins and the Florida Panthers.
