Anton's first solo release "Broken Heart" on ChrysDee Records is impressive on a lot of levels. Right off the bat, you've got to respect the fact that one man could almost single handedly put together a project from writing and performing all the way down to the cover artwork and design. Yes Prince and a whole host of artists have done similar feats but, like a fingerprint, every artist has a unique sound and style. I am not so good at categorizing music but I hear a number of genres on "Broken Heart". On the title track "Broken Heart" and "Sea of Tears", you'll hear a lot of blues coming out of Anton's guitar solos. Then on "Sexy Baby", the funk is on. "The Answer" on the other hand mixes elements of traditional jazz with old school R&B. His cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" simply kicks butt. You will like this one.
