ta.da is the twenty-five year old Bahamian recording artist/songwriter who founded Sanctigroove music production label in 2000. This unique artist has amazed audiences throughout Canada, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas and with her own blend of original music. Her style, which she labels Caribbean Fusion, blends Soul, Reggae, and Hip-hop. She appears on the Universal Music Canada Honey Drops compilation CD release and her 'Keep Movin" and "Introducing ta.da" music videos air nationally on Much Music television in Canada. ta.da has opened for a number of well-known artists including Bow Wow, Papa San, Carl Thomas, BeBe Winans, Triniteee 5:7, and Kardinal Offishal. ta.da's performance at a Bahamian family concert event has appeared on the "Lift Every Voice" segment of B.E.T. and she was featured in the SOURCE hip-hop magazine for winning the Grand Prize in the Hip-hop category of the 2000 John Lennon Songwriting contest. Her music has been aired throughout the Bahamas and Canada, and on stations throughout other parts of the world. ta.da took the local music industry by storm over the past few years, having earned a number of local and international awards. She has co-written for artists including Nehemiah Hield (Polydor Records - Japan), former lead singer of Grammy award winning group Bahamen, and is herself a 3-time Caribbean Marlin Award winner.
