ta.da is the twenty-four year old recording artist/songwriter who founded Sanctigroove artist development label in 1999. She is an Honors graduate of the Recording Arts Management Program at the Harris Institute for the Arts in Toronto, Canada. This unique artist has amazed audiences throughout Canada, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas and with her own blend of original music. Her style, which she labels Caribbean Soul Fusion, blends R&B, Reggae, Hip-hop and Funk-Rock. ta.da took the local music industry by storm over the past few years, having earned a number of international awards including a Grand Prize in the hip-hop category of the acclaimed John Lennon Songwriting Contest and three Marlin Awards. ta.da has appeared on the same stage as a number of well-known artists including Carl Thomas (Bad Boy Records), BeBe Winans, Papa San, Triniteee 5:7, and Kardinal Offishal. ta.da Has appeared on B.E.T. and in the Source hip-hop magazine. Her music has been aired throughout the Bahamas and Canada, and on select stations throughout other parts of the world. ta.da has charted on radio stations throughout the Bahamas, and on college stations in Canada.
