A New Beginning A former member of a group trio, TaRhonda's new beginning is solo and in the direction lead by Christ. Knowing that she can't live without Christ, nor would she want to, she has dedicated her life to fulfilling His purpose. Her powerful voice, which once graced the secular music industry, can now be heard witnessing the goodness of God to a weary nation. TaRhonda has come to realize that her purpose in life is to minister to others through the vehicle of music wherein her gift lies. The "Real Life" experience readily apparent in her voice only adds to the integrity of her music and her ministry. TaRhonda is inspired by musical greats like Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Teena Marie, Donnie McClurkin and even some local favorites. "Some of the best singers in the world are right in your neighborhood, and they sing in your church choir", she says. "That's where I got my sound." Her fans would agree her sassy sound is both one of a kind and one in a million! She wrote and recorded her first song more than ten years ago and has been writing and recording ever since. She has also been afforded the opportunity to work with great stellar producers such as Award winning Rodney Jerkins, Grammy nominee Brian Sullivan, Ed White and Bink. She made her television debut on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "Turning Point" Show, whose audience includes over 65 million people in Africa, England, and the Caribbean. Believing that her purpose in life is to help others and spread the love of God through music, TaRhonda is dedicated to her career, her people and most importantly to God!
