Jack Flawless Biography
.
It was at the young age of 15 that Jack Flawless took a serious look at this culture we now call hip hop. Influenced by many hip hop greats such as A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G, and Jay-Z, He began freestyling within circles in his hometown neighborhood of Malvern in Toronto, Ontario.

"I remember being in my 12th grade gym class and everyone around me was intensely watching a basketball video", he recalls. But I had my headphones on and was only focused on writing rhymes. "It was at that instance that I realized nothing else mattered to me but the music"

After constantly shocking his peers with his natural talent, Jack Flawless started receiving more and more praise, not only from friends, but from anybody who had the opportunity to listen to him rhyme. Many people credit his smooth flow, distinctive voice and his clever and often humorous punch-lines as the characteristics that set Flawless apart from the typical MC. Fueled by his ambition, he single handedly set up after-school freestyle sessions where many aspiring MC's came to showcase their skills. However Jack Flawless outshined his competition every time. Based on his talents and with help from his older brother he was hooked up with a local producer named Kjam and recorded his first song "Who U Rollin Wit". This song received a lot of acclaim from the streets and led to an opportunity for Jack Flawless to work with upstart label LifeTime Records

After a very short time LifeTime Records decided to make Jack Flawless its first signee and franchise artist. However the first issue to tackle was a new moniker. In the beginning of his career, Jack Flawless was actually working under the stage name Dubb S (get it "Da Best"). But after receiving a great deal of ridicule, other names such as CoJack, Traxx Truth, and Shortchange were thrown around, but none of these names stuck. After weeks of trying to come up with a name that represented him both on a personal and skill level, Jack Flawless was born. Jack being his last name and flawless portraying his mentality towards his music.

Shortly after Jack Flawless began his professional career with LifeTime Records his first Mix CD hit the streets in May of 2003. "LifeTime Records introduces Jack Flawless MixTape Volume 1" Showcases his natural talents and incredible lyrical flair. "S.H.A.N.T.E" the most popular cut displays his ability to switch up his flow at a level that few MC's can do well. "Lyrical Workout" a superb track that has such witty lines as "When I put my pen to the paper/lyrical raper/Jeffery Dahmer you met your MAKER!" and "Beware" which also showcases his natural swagger with lines like "/I'm tryin to blow up on the charts like Timmy Mcveigh/you can never step in the shoe's I currently stand in/lyrical terrorist/ very similar to Bin Laden"

While only 20 and at the beginning of his career, Jack Flawless shows great potential to become a household name in the industry. He is currently preparing a second mixtape, working on collaborations on other artist's projects, and working on his first official single. Although Jack Flawless knows that there is a lot of ground to cover ahead of him, his future goal remains crystal clear. "I want to have fun making music, but at the same time want to make music that people can feel and enjoy for years"
