Isaiah

Isaiah was born July 10, 1980 and raised in Rochdale Village in Southside Jamaica Queens, New York. He has an extensive musical background that has been passed down from his father, grandfather, uncles, aunts and cousins, all who are either artists or musicians. In 1999, Isaiah started his college career at Delaware State University where he double majored in Accounting and Business Management with finance and banking concentration. The books were keeping him busy, but his attention soon gravitated towards his inherited musical talents.

While attending DSU, Isaiah created the campus’ first student organization dedicated to hip-hop preservation entitled, "From Our Neighborhood To Yours (FONTY)". FONTY became a hit on campus through its banging parties, ‘hood movie nights and freestyle fellowships that brought Isaiah’s Southside Jamaica Queens upbringing to Dover. Isaiah gained a lot of respect from the student body for FONTY and its programs. But, that was just the beginning of his campus notoriety. In his attempt to pursue a higher education, Isaiah realized that his tenacity and passion for writing and producing original music superseded his desire to continue at DSU. To establish himself in the music genre of the new millennium, Isaiah released his first mixtape entitled "Like It or Not Vol. I". The hit single, "I love you Isaiah", added to his stardom on the DSU campus. The song received airplay on both college and commercial radio stations in Delaware. After realizing his potential in the music industry, Isaiah left DSU and turned his brainchild FONTY into his own record label: FONTY Records.

Shortly there after, his music career went into full gear. In 2002, Isaiah toured with legendary jazz musician Donald Byrd. In 2003 through 2004, Isaiah entered multiple talent showcases including Jimmy's Uptown Café and Monday Night Madness with Maria Davis at the Soul Café. Isaiah also appeared on many mixtapes including Unsigned Underground, DJ Superstar Jay and DJ Self a.k.a. the prince of New York. His hustle didn’t stop there.

His hit single "I love you Isaiah" continued to receive positive feedback from radio listeners. Based on the audience’s response, Isaiah decided to release a video for the single, which he executive produced. The video debuted on Video Music Box with Ralph McDaniels and has played on the majority of locally broadcasted video shows throughout the country and can be viewed at Yahoo! (www.Launch.Yahoo.com). Isaiah's video, "Pleasure's Paradise", is currently in constant rotation on BET. His latest video, “Radio” is for the song that is on the playlist for Marc Ecko retail stores.

His witty creativity, diverse musical background and keen business sense sets Isaiah apart from his competitors. Isaiah continues to succeed by incorporating all genres of music in his productions while juggling a blooming acting career. Isaiah has appeared in several feature films including Cam’ron’s “Killa Season”, 50 Cent’s movie "Get Rich or Die Tryin'", and as one of the main characters in the upcoming movie “City Teacher” featuring Alicia Keys' mom, Seria Joseph.
