Timothy C.’s BIO

Timothy grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He has resided in Portland, His siblings still live in the Detroit area. He grew up listening to R&B groups like The Jackson 5, O.J.’s, The Commodores, Spinners, and Earth Wind & Fire.

At the early age of 5, Timothy was always singing around the house. He was encouraged by his family to sing in a choir but Timothy was much too shy to perform in front of audiences. It wasn’t till recently that Timothy overcame his shyness and decided to sing professionally.

He was first discovered by E.B. Daddy of Da Hood, a Bay area producer, whom happened to be one of Timothy’s co-workers at the time. E.B had asked Timothy to join in on some recording sessions at his studio. E.B later went on to release these recordings on a compilation CD around the Bay area. The feedback that Timothy got from the CD came as a surprise to him and strengthened his confidence and helped him overcome his shyness of performing in front of audiences. Timothy is now singing publicly in various clubs in the Portland area.

Timothy’s debut CD is due to be released 5/06. He enjoys singing about real life issues mostly, but also likes to throw in some good dance songs as well. Through his music, Timothy hopes to send out positive messages to the people.

Outside of music, Timothy enjoys watching his favorite basketball team, the Detroit Pistons. When Timothy is not writing songs or spending time with his family, he is busy as an ironworker building high risers and bridges.
