Kat Orlando and her new CD, Contradiction

What happens when a young girl, growing up in the seventies, absorbing songs by Stevie Wonder, Junior Walker and Tina Turner, decides to play the saxophone, sing and write?

KAT

"Contradiction", the title of her upcoming CD, is the story. Kat is the contradiction, she is two: first the performer with the powerhouse voice and monster stage presence, second, the mild mannered, small sometimes shy woman whose stature defies the first description.

Her songs bring all the emotions, frustrations and ironies of relationships to the listener through different grooves and rhythms of R&B, pop and dance.
Some of her tunes place you in different times and places like New Orleans in the song "Put the Gris Gris (good groove on)" and L.A. in "Cadillac of Man". The song "Partyline (operator 9)" is quirky and fun.

Check out Kat and open your mind to the rhythm and grooves.
