Growing up Davon's mom introduced him to the sounds of such Artists as; Al Green, Earth Wind and Fire, The Jackson Five, Commodores, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Chicago and many others. He began performing at age 13 on stage and has been performing ever since. In 2001 he performed for the HIV Aids benefits, the KOOL'S LIGHT open mic talent showcase, and also traveled with the Apollo Star Search Tour while in California. In 2002 he performed LIVE on stage with the Artist "Cherelle" at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC as the opening act for New Edition. More recently he auditioned for P.Diddy's "MAKING THE OF BAND" in 2002 at Howard University in Washington DC. Presently Davon is focused on promoting his HOT NEW DEBUT ALBUM "BODY LANGUAGE" slated to hit record stores the summer of 2004. Davon looks destine for super stardom and a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Davon's ultimate goal is to open doors for new talent through JFOCUS ENTERTAINMENT to one day help the youth develop their musical talents by offering artist development, vocal coaching, and technical training to prepare them for a career in the music industry.
