Christopher Lewis is in a distinct class as a songwriter, Producer, singer and Musician. Just outside Raleigh, NC, infectious lyrics and melodies arrested him at the youthful age of ten. This uninterrupted affection for music commanded him to experience choir singing and directing, Quartet harmonizing, and years of keyboard training. The songwriter's highway led him to the music department at the world-renowned Art Institute of Atlanta. Christopher's relationship with everyone around him, mainly with God, has formed him to pen heartfelt lyrics with enrapturing melodies everyone can attest to. The style is diverse encompassing Gospel, Urban R&B Rap Mix, Contemporary and Urban Christian, Quartet, Worship, Jazz as well as Classical. Christopher has a large growing repertoire of songs, some of which have been recorded by recording artist and other local and international aspiring gospel groups. He placed 1st in the BMI New Music Nights Showcase 2002 and also received a Grand Prize award for Georgia Music Industry Association, Inc for songwriter showcase 2000 as well as BMI songwriters showcase 2000. In 1996 Christopher released a single entitled "Delivered," a song detailing Christians triumph over adverse situations. The single was the #1 requested song in Greensboro, N.C. and received major airplay in Atlanta, GA. One of Christopher's most fluent areas is creatively composing captivating love songs. Though the world has confused love songs with lust songs, one only has to listen to "Never" or "Beauty Queen" to know that Christopher's soul identifies with the true genre of ballads. The Musical influences that has greatly fashioned Christopher's eloquent style are Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, John P.Kee, Daryl Coley, Commissioned, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Fred Hammond, and Johnathan E. Alvarado. He has had many opportunities to accompany and sing background for sundry of today's recording artist. Christopher believes that apart from his family, his purpose is to melodiously articulate dreams, desires, hope and love, not with delusive redundancy, but with a novel blend of lyrics that will beckon the pulse of all people for generations to come.
