AS HEARD ON MTV's ROAD RULES, and other MTV productions! Amaya is an up and coming independent artist whose music is full of passionate "groove oriented" energy. A solid, hip-hop influenced rhythm section, matched with an unmistakably beautiful voice from a woman who is not afraid to show it - creates a powerful, original album; that all who listen will not soon forget. Her lyric relays feelings of torment, and sadness coming full circle with an over all - positive feeling that can be universally understood. Her voice is unmistakably powerful yet controlled beautifully. The music incorporates jazz, hip-hop, funk and folk. Amaya composed, recorded, and produced her first album entitled ORGANIC, and has begun touring the college circuit after a hugely successful national NACA showcase.
