afroQben is a producer/musician from Portland, Oregon. With the use of a sequencer and the ability to play the guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, percussion, turntables, sing and rap, he is able to put an album together such as "Hi-Fi Fro Funk". Influenced by 70's funk, reggae/dub, hip-hop/trip-hop, rock and jazz, he has created a sound that is very listenable, danceble and unforgetable. On the song "We Got To Get TOgether Now", 6 grade kids from Portland's Harriet Tubman Middle School sing on the chorus. With its soulful-inspiring lyrics, this song is a sure pleaser! afroQben's next production is on its way, creating a double full length album of organic, less sequenced music. Working hard on getting the album complete, his fans should be patient for the debut, cause its going to be a masterpiece!
