Nikkole is proven to be one of America's number one independent singers via mp3.com, which was one of the major music internet websites. In 2003, Nikkole was the winner of an award from Radio Free Virgin and JPF for one of the Best Pop Albums with her debut cd, "Appearances". Nikkole's "Appearances" project was chosen out of 7800 independent publicly released albums. On that very same evening, her winning streak continued as she received another award for the song "Over It," which was one of the Top 20 Best Pop Singles out of 25,000 independently released songs. Now she moves on to complete a new album to excite the Music World. As a verified singer of a new breed, Nikkole has written and co-produced all of her songs with the incredibly talented and innovative Hit Producer, Lloyd Tolbert of Drumatk Music. Lloyd has worked with the likes of Brandy, Lionel Richie, Yolanda Adams, Diana Ross, Bobby Womack and Regina Bell. Nikkole has also written and produced new cuts for The Emotions and has written and arranged new cuts for The Commodores both of which have upcoming releases.
