Nigel Soyer wants to spread the word of God throughout the world. That's why he gave up singing rhythm and blues for gospel. Nigel admits that as a born again Christian, Fred Hammond and Helen Baylor, has helped this young star to stay focused. Born in Trinidad, Soyer remembers growing up with the dream of becoming as successful as Michael Jackson, Boys II Men and Jodeci. After singing with Grant, he was almost certain that that's what he wanted to do, to become a successful Rhythm and Blues star. Nigel's ambition soon changed.
