Backyard Presents: Arkansas RazorMack Arkansas Razormack is a sultry collection of songs that capture the essence of day-to-day Little Rock living. Lil Mack the bodysnatcher aka Eddie Kaine Jr. gives you a vivid picture of life in the Rocktown, struggling as a young black male, and real-deal guerrilla pimpin at its finest. Arkansas Razormack is an underground classic. Never before has a Little Rock artist captured the Rocktown Sound in a complete body of work. From our country's coolest president, Bill Clinton, to the gang violence that tore through the city as portrayed in the HBO special "Bangin' in Little Rock". Lil Mack's lyrics are thought provoking profiles that give you a clear picture of a young black male searching for personal strength through the eyes of a Young Hog. 1. Lil Mack begins the Arkansas Razormack project with a song entitled Inner City Blues 2005. This song is a fitting introduction to a project of this magnitude. Inner City is a thought provoking tale of three individual dealing with life, death, pain, and perseverance. Surprisingly the song was made in 45 minutes from beginning to end. Inner City Blues 2005 was originally put on the project as a filler song, however after an over whelming response to the song it was promptly place at the beginning. 2. Arkansas Razormack is the title track for the project. This song was inspired by the instrumental that Ron Mc gave to Lil Mack in early 2005. The concept for the song was to fuse 3 separate styles and bring them together to explain the struggles of a black male in the Rocktown, as well as any other city. From Ron Mc's melodies in the background to Jantre's deep introspective lyrics, this song is a Arkansas Classic. "And for all my dogs stay strong / Even though we gotta struggle in my mind I'm still singing this song" 3. The projects third track "Yes Sir" is a prelude to Jantre's upcoming Backyard project. Yes Sir gives you a clear picture of a hustler mobbin' through the city. Jantre vividly illustrates how to stay on the grind, keep your money on your mind, and keep it real, stack scrill, keep it player and maintain. 4. The fourth song found on the Arkansas Razormack is entitled "Ice Kold Flows". This song features one of the Little Rocks most respected lyrical geniuses, 607. 607 adds a cyan flavored rapid fire flow that compliments Lil Mack's FLOW style of rapping. This song is a breath of fresh air for heads that yearn for lyrical flow. 5. "Phone Call" is a freestyle that Lil Mack laid during the ladder part of the projects conception. When heard, it is reminiscent to the drunkin/stagger style of freestyling that Snoop did on Doggystyle. 6. The sixth track is entitled "No Luv". In this tale Lil Mack and Jantre take you on an adventure with two young players that comb the Little Rock streets lookin' for some action. "No Luv's" title gives you a hint into how they feel about having any type of compassion for scandalous behavior. Peep game, you will be satisfied. 7. The Pimptroduction is the answer to any doubters, whether it be locally or nationally, that feel like Lil Mack, Backyard, or Little Rock aint commin' wit it. The first line sums up the tone of the song: "I went from O's to Flows to doin' shows for doe / Presidential Pimpin' n -- , f -- the hoes and cloths". Definitely some of that head knock goosh. 8. "Playin' Games" is a tale of a young player in Little Rock that is stealth in maneuvering the city streets BIG PIMPIN'. It is an insightful story of how women who play games and the players that take advantage. 9. "On the Breezy" is another answer song to all haters that think that Backyard ain't comin' wit it. "Take it easy with the breeze, and keep it real." You do the math 10. The tenth track, "No Game", is an autobiographical tale of bad breaks, set backs, and inspiration. "No Game" explains all the trials and tribulations of Lil Mack and also gives you a clear view of his perspective of how he tries to navigate in the game of life. In one of the lyrics in the song Lil Mack makes reference to all individuals who have nothing to loose yet instill hold on: "Cause see the Game underground / Why are MF scared to throw the bomb on the last down" Even though Lil Mack is deep in the game, It don't mean he aint tring to change. After you hear the project, it is evident, he is a Arkansas Razormack... a Arkansas Razormack. Lil Mack (501)944.6225 Check out the artist's website: http://www.razormack.com Track List: 1.
