Adanekay has finally published her first c.d "Tear Down The Walls." A trained teacher from the island of Jamaica, She believes that an artist work should entertain as well as educate. she envisions world peace and the security and happines of all children, especially in third world countries. She blends skillfull serious concepts of her writings with humor as in "Jacket" which is talking about the influences of grandparents on parental resposibilities. She also put an hilarious twist on the ever present immigration issues of the caribbean region.In her opinion, the unification of mankind, and the elimination of man-made barriers of society would greatly enhance world peace.This is all summed up in her title of the album, "Tear Down The Walls" she is curently writing a collection of short children's story soon to be released.
