Bliss Wood is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist as well as a published singer/songwriter. Her holistic approach to health and wellness, coupled with her diverse artistic background brings a uniquely personal experience to those who participate in her classes and workshops. Bliss has been practicing Hatha Yoga for 13 years. Certified in Ananda Yoga and trained in Svaroopa Yoga, she has been teaching a deep, meditative style of Yoga, witnessing positive physical, mental, emotional and spiritual results in her students across the country.

Bliss currently teaches full-time in Nashville, TN and also travels throughout the United States teaching seminars and retreats on "The Art of Awareness" and "Yoga for Deep Relaxation". "Awareness and focus begin within" is the major concept for Bliss' classes. The use of Visualization, Meditation, Pranayama and Yoga postures help to bring a full-being experience to every individual who practices this deep, meditative style of Yoga.

Bliss' classes and seminars are excellent for beginners as well as advanced students. Modifications to the postures are demonstrated along with the full extent of each pose to include all levels of ability. Students are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and experience Yoga at their own pace. Her soothing voice gently guides you through your "full-being" Yoga practice into a state of deep relaxation and peace while strengthening and toning muscles, mind and focus.
