Announcing the first baby care guide in the form of an audio book. Common sense tells you that your baby won't be on breast milk for life, but when do you make the transition to solids, and how? You know that your baby won't go through life with an umbilical cord that looks like a dried prune. But when does it fall off, and how do you care for it until it does? Baby products are recalled every week, but how do you find out about them?

Baffled?

This informative 2-CD audio book gives you the answers to these and many other practical questions. If you are expecting your first baby, or are new to baby care, a group of parents and grandparents, with the help of professional consultants, has compiled over 1-hour and 40-minutes of quick tips to smooth your transition. They cover Feeding, Diapering, Bathing, Health, Safety and other helpful subjects, with sound effects sprinkled throughout that add life to the dialogue. Read when you have more time, but for now... just listen.

This project began as a simple networking group of parents. The group polled new parents to see how they prepared themselves for the coming of their new baby and discovered that 95% of new fathers never read any information on their baby's care, and mothers only read select portions of their reference material. Some important information is just not reaching new parents. When asked if they should feed their babies honey, most new parents question why they shouldn't.
- Honey can contain a form of botulism that can be lethal to an infant.
- It is dangerous to warm formula after medication has been added to the bottle. Heat can change the properties of any medication.
- If a pool is not properly chlorinated, it can breed harmful E. coli bacteria. There are simple dipsticks that can be purchased from your local pool supplier and used to test chlorine levels.
- "Baffled About Baby?" covers tips like these, and other practical baby care information that can reduce the stress that can arise during early baby care. They are tips that might even save the life of a child.

Additional information and clarifications that would otherwise put you to sleep on a CD, can be found in the "Parenting Tips" section of abridgeclub.com.
