I first met Ben Lieberman in college where we partied and jammed on the acoustic guitars. We played songs by the Beatles, Stones, Grateful Dead, and other classic rock. In my time off from the Space Band, I'd call Ben and ask him to stop by for some acoustic jamming. Sometimes, we played the electrics. I also started working my originals into the sessions, and we were off! The B&T Express CD "Escape To Planet Ohm" really shows how compatible we are playing together. Here's the scoop on the song samples: The opening track "We're So Grateful" is dedicated to a great band and their following with Ben playing lead guitar. "B+T Jam" is an instrumental jam showcasing our talents on electric guitars while we alternate rhythm and leads. There's also an acoustic jam recorded live in the studio on "Shady Sunset". "Summertime In The Country" features some good vocal harmonies with me playing acoustic and electric slide and Ben playing electric rhythm and electric lead. On "Planet Ohm" (title track) Ben burns on the electric! We had lots of fun making this music and we know you'll have a lot of fun listening!
