Two Screaming Asian Boys observe no rules when creating music. Any approach, any instrument, and any musician can be utilized, resulting in music with no predetermined genre. The way the songs sound is just as surprising to the creators as it is to the listener, because the musicians involved are free to do whatever they want whenever they want, bringing about the most natural and honest expression possible.

The core members of the band are from Des Moines, IA. Adam Clark, Darius Hernandez and Eric Hoyt first played together in Shiloh Church, a band that formed in Des Moines in 1994 with Darius' brother, Eli on vocals, Darius on drums, and Eric on guitar. The band started out with a no-rules approach, but soon developed a punk/metal/pop sound and formulaic songwriting. Adam joined Shiloh Church on bass in 1997. By that time, the members were already looking for different avenues of musical expression, and side projects ensued.

Adam and Darius started recording under the name "Witches of Weir" in 1997, and Eric and Darius started recording under the name "Two Screaming Asian Boys" later that year. Shiloh Church and Witches of Weir both went on to play live shows and sell CD's for several more years, but Two Screaming Asian Boys remained just an experiment for the time being.

Eventually, the name "Witches of Weir" was dropped, when the band started sounding enough like Shiloh Church that it was pointless to have two names for what was essentially the same band. In 2004, Shiloh Church officially called it a 10-year legacy, and Adam, Darius and Eric reformed Two Screaming Asian Boys as it is now.

The first official Two Screaming Asian Boys album was finished in 2005. All the music on the album is improvised. The sound represents what naturally came out of the players at the time, with no predetermined criteria. Not even the band members know what the next album will sound like. Only time will tell.

If you like what you hear, and you want to record music with Two Screaming Asian Boys, please send a message expressing your interest. The band will record with anyone who plays an instrument and is interested in a new outlet.
