Started in Gothenburg in 1997 , TRIGGER have built up a huge body of high energy punkrock that has gone largely unrecognized by the music press and has made many indiepop journalists run for the door. A few real connoisseurs of pure adrenaline pumping classic punk rock & roll have recognized the honest, devoted music of this criminally over-looked band. The same taste for bands like MC5 , Small Faces , Sonics , Undertones , Ramones , AC/DC , The Who , Roky Erickson as well as contemporaries like the Didjits , Supersuckers , New bomb Turks & Monster magnet. Releasing their debut album Fortysevenhours (MIMO/ZUMA) in 2000 possessed a lot of energy and excitement , the Trigger style was born. All tracks were recorded live only to get hold of that three piece power rock and roll sound. Said a Swedish journalist at DN (major Swedish newspaper):"Trigger fights their way past a long cue of bands with self-esteem, authority and 14 great songs. Maybe I've heard this kind of rock´n´roll before but almost never with Triggers unusual energy and vitality. Trigger equals rock´n´roll that's for sure!!!"
