ABOUT US Tri-State Conspiracy is a hard-hitting ska-and-swing ensemble based in New York City. Since their formation in 2001, they have played over 100 shows at venues including CBGB, The Knitting Factory, SOB's, Hard Rock Cafe (NYC), Maxwell's (Hoboken, NJ), and The Chance Theater (Poughkeepsie, NY); and with such bands as The Toasters, The Slackers, The Pietasters, Big D and the Kids Table, River City Rebels, Murphy's Law, and the legendary Symarip. RECENT NEWS October 21, 2005 Tri-State Conspiracy releases their first full length album High Strung Mess featuring 10 studio tracks of their most polished, "live tested" material. These catchy, fast-paced, high-energy selections span a range of genres including ska, swing, rockabilly, reggae, and punk. March 25, 2003 Megalith Records (founded by Bucket: lead singer of the Toasters and former owner of Moon Records) releases Tri-State Conspiracy's hit single "Walking Dead", a swingin' tribute to the zombie film genre, on its Still Standing compilation. The album features various other ska artists, including the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Slackers, and The Toasters, and has received international distribution.
