Slipping Stitches was founded during 2003, under our previous name called Peace of Mind and it was under this name that we recorded No Privacy, our first promotional CD single at Sonic Pump Studios (Helsinki) in the summer of 2001. Michael Monroe from Hanoi Rocks produced the first two tracks and contributed with both lyrics and background vocals. Towards the end of 2001 the band was finally complete when bass player Madison Pulse joined in and we changed our name to Slipping Stitches in the spring of 2003. In May 2004 we released our first independent album Melody Cruise. You could say that Slipping Stitches plays straight on melodic hardrock with a touch of glam, but we just call it Rock N' Roll.
