Formed in San Francisco in 2003, the Hut Dwellers have been launching live sets of uncontrolled rock spontaneity, annihilating the minds of local scenesters, launching them into a state of euphoric frenzy. No less will be accepted. Their debut album "Demise of Kong" is out now on Euphrenzia Records. Recorded by famed rock star Greg Odell of 8 Foot Tender in Portland, OR.

This SF power trio is fueled by the lightning fast right hand of Dave Leonard on guitar. Often sounding like 5 members rather than 3, the rock walks the tightrope between stripped down early punk minimalism and full psychedelic fury. Not at all retro, the sharp, well- crafted songs manage to juxtapose thoughtful reflection and wild abandon in very short spaces. The comedy of errors in everyday urban life moves these native Californians into the future. Also, look for Dave playing drums in Penelope Houston and the Crankies. http://www.penelope.net/shows.html

The HD are a power trio consisting of:
David Leonard - guitars, bongos, vocals *
Mike Stimming - drums, Wurlitzer, vocals *
Greg Daniels - fuzz bass, vocals
