Randy, Phil and Chris all play music in the bay area. We all should have known that Hello Donkey would come to exist. But really, who could have predicted the whole ice skating thing? -- This release includes two separate groups of songs. The first is called Ice Kastles in the Sand: we don't even know what that means. The second is a live rendition of Blades of Steel: an intimate journey. Blades is a rock-u-mentory of the Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan ice skating saga of 1993/94. Ice Kastles is an interpretation of a 1970's B-movie of a similar name. We've never seen the movie. Also in this release is a comic book that gives the album it's name, A Day in the Life of Hello Donkey.
