A Requiem for Apogee was the first project of David Sutton. Now David has went on several US tours, is responsible for Leaf Leaf Records and a member of experimental and indie groups Ladderwoe, Friends and Family, and the GT Performers. However, when Falling In and Out of Sleep was released David was just a high school kid strumming and making weird sounds in his bedroom.

Falling In and Out of Sleep was the first and last real release by A Requiem for Apogee. The album consists of handpicked songs recorded from 2003-2004. The songs resemble many aspects of lo fi, diy music. The album includes a wide variety of instrumentation all performed by David- guitars electric and acoustic, synths, vocoder, dulcimer, piano and more!

Experimentally rockish, sorta emoish, weirdness, soundscapish, antifolkishness.
thank you.
