Since the critical and public success of their 1998 debut "Cinematique", Akasha have continued their miasmatic musical adventure. An intense creative period has given birth to more sonic innovation, deeper and darker than before.

Finally they have completed a second body of work which they call
"Love Philtre Magic".This strange and unique record is a potent alchemical brew of contorted rock , cinematic jazz , lush orchestration and twisted electronica from an altogether "other" place.

"We have called this music into existence from "somewhere" but we don't even know where or what that place is. Some of our trippiest , most profound and emotive music to date is on this record"

Amazing performances from members of the incendiary live Akasha collective have been instrumental in the creation of "Love Philtre Magick"

Akasha are: Charlie Casey - guitar, vocals, drums etc
Damian Hand - flutes, saxes, keyboards etc.
