A dark album, I worked on for about 3 years after the last project, Floating Books. Differ or short for Different (the proposed title) is titled that way due to it’s darkness compared to Floating Books. Much of the material was written about relationship issues, my job and other odd things. Sadly, the quality of this project isn’t as good as I hoped for the CD. Differ was the last album that I recorded using traditional analog equipment and the equipment was pretty run down. Recorded in the basement where I worked, Differ is a pretty good album which captured the times and feelings that I was dealing with at the time. Some of my favorites: Company Wise: about working at my job, but distorting it tremendously. Love Bucket: my frustrations of working, going to college and trying to have a life...but partying too much. Battery Life: a little ditty about how short life really is.
