Sam Sarah is an independent rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They play music that is somewhat hard to pigeonhole, but it's something along the lines of dynamic, emotional, screamo, progressive rock. Sam Sarah are believers in music as more of a form of art and less a form of commerce. The band seems to connect with their audience and shine most in their live performances, producing a lot of energy and emotion. Sam Sarah's sound dominates the ears with a droning and melodic deafness that is later soothed with soft, hushed silence. They recently released an album in early 2004 entitled Shock and Awe and are currently playing in support of it. Sam Sarah hopes to tour the midwest and east coast soon.
