"THE PIXIES meet YES" -- Jon Auer, PATTERN 25 RECORDS solo artist & founding member of THE POSIES

"Every once in a while a band walks into the studio and just blows you away...[FEAR OF LITTLE MEN] seem to combine the vocal approach of CAMPER VAN BEETHOVEN with the mood and soundscape of RADIOHEAD. They had a huge dynamic range, beautiful instrumentation, and really haunting songs. My prediction is that somebody will sign these guys and that they will go on to make wonderful records...I definitely hope to see more of these guys."

-- Johnny Sangster, Producer/Engineer, EGG STUDIOS - Seattle, WA

FEAR OF LITTLE MEN are 5 multi-instrumentalists working in soundscapes of layered guitar, sparse synth/samples and abundant percussive elements. Their post-punk progressive rock and indie rock sounds are pushed to a raw, catchy edge. Dynamic and volatile, each song is solidly tethered by melody and lyrical lures.

Building on the local buzz created by their live performances and radio exposure of their debut EP, TONIGHT IN YOUR HEAD (2000), songs from their debut LP - A GOOD DEED IN A WEARY WORLD - are drawing positive crowd response at Northwest all-ages and 21 & over steadies. Growing interest from Northwest progressive/math-rock & indie/pop-rock fans and musicians from coast to coast illustrate FEAR OF LITTLE MEN's wide range of talent and audience appeal.

Between the EP and LP releases FEAR OF LITTLE MEN released songs with 18 other formula-snubbing bands from around the nation on the INSPIRATIONAL HYMNS compilation LP (2002).
