Polite enough to bring home to your mom; cuddly enough for your little sister; rocking enough to blow your pants off and leave you panting for more. This Torrance-based quintet has been producing sound waves on the Los Angeles music scene for almost two years. Converging in 2003, after three music majors decided to put aside their differences and try to 'score' with 'women', they asked a long time collaborator and drummist as well as a keyboard specialist and trumpetist to make noise simultaneously as an assemblage of musicians calling themselves "You Me & Iowa". No the band is not from Iowa. Yes they have visited there, it's lovely. They play rock music consisting of Electrified Guitars, Keyboard(s), Drums & Cymbals, Vocal Chords & Trumpets, and a Bass (with or without "Balls") Their 5 track debut "Bigger Than Boston" was recorded August - December of 2004 in Los Angeles and produced by Ryan Ayers and You Me & Iowa.
