Woodswork's first studio EP, "Life in Dead Trees", showcases original songs that mix acoustic and electric sound, complex three-part harmonies and classical violin. Their unique style combines socially conscious lyrics with an emotional rock edge, influenced by bands like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Rusted Root, Dave Matthews and Fleetwood Mac.

Originating from the Baltimore, MD., the five-member band was formed over a year ago and has developed a strong collegiate following in the Baltimore/D.C. area. Loyal fans come from Towson University, UMBC, UMCP, and Loyola College to hear favorites like "What Tomorrow Brings" and "Watcher." Concert-goers and music-lovers alike can expect to see Woodswork performing in various clubs and music venues across Maryland and throughout the region this fall.
