(THIS IS THE LAST OF THE RECORD LABEL'S INVENTORY of this desireable CD. Limited number of copies left.) This is the 2000 debut CD of Chattanooga's Wanton Dynamos. At that time, none of the band was over 20 years old - but all of them had been performing live gigs for at least 5 years. This is a superb CD! The band's influences are clear: Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead.... but all the songs are originals (except for "Son of Psilcybin", a rare psychedelic relic from Nashville's 89th Congress on Spar Records in 1970!!) Nathaniel Luttrell's vocals and lead guitar smokes; Timo Reinke (from Berlin, Germany) blows a "polka-raga" sax; and Jake Williams adds electric upright bass to the standard rock format! This was released on small (but respected) indy label, ASP Records, and few copies were manufactured. The Wanton Dynamos opened (and closed) for Allman Brother, Dickey Betts, at the 2002 Riverbend Festival, and blew people away! While their new recordings show their gains as incredible young musicians, this first recording catches them at their beginning. Engineered by Michael Saint Leon, whose bare head is the CD cover picture, and produced by GRAMMY entered R&B producer, Terry Montford (Wilson Meadows, etc), this is a great CD and will be very hard to find soon! Track List: 1. Paper Cut 2. Devastation 3. Prison Called Love 4. Just Think Back 5. Son Of Psilicybin 6. Where Things Went Wrong 7. Dark Room 8. Volkswagen Blues Suggested CDs:Other Genres:
