Transcendence is a 5-member alternative/modern rock band originally out of the Miami underground rock scene. They have a very original sound called planet music that comes from their fusion of various musical styles and a very eclectic and intelligent songwriting. The stunning charm of Rise and Shine, their newest release on TMG Records, is its ability to sound hauntingly familiar and yet futuristic all at the same time. There are many fantastic tracks on this album including Better luck next time, Do you know who you are, and Tres cool, Paris; The title track is absolutely brilliant. The 12 songs proper on the album are well crafted, have great hooks, and some absolutely brilliant arrangements.
