Born in a basement in NE Baltimore, the Window Shoppers make music that might be most accurately described as improvisational punk rock. Inspired by the likes of The Bush Tetras, X Ray Spex, Pylon, and Patti Smith (though not really sounding like any of them), the Window Shoppers never play their songs the same way twice. Features: Bev Stanton (Arthur Loves Plastic), bass and recording production; Mary Fox, vocals and lyrics; Chris Chernes, percussion; and Linda Smith, guitar and vocals.
