The Cribb finds their identity through the roots of rock icons like U2, The Replacements and The Beatles, yet are still making their own sound. They hail primarily from South Carolina, with the majority of the members being brothers. Rik, Billy and Derek Cribb got together to form a band and found lead guitarist Andy Carini to complete the quartet. Rik Cribb, on lead vocals and guitar, had played in the ska band, SKWZBXX (pronounced "Squeeze Box") and when they disbanded in 1999 he moved to Los Angeles to pursue the golden dream of a major label deal. After arriving, he called his brother Billy and told him to pack up his bass guitar and move out. Now they only had to convince Derek, a phenomenal drummer who played in the reggae band Sol Driven Train, to leave school in Florida and join them out West. Derek jumped at the opportunity to play with his older brothers. The next and final piece of the puzzle came into place when lead guitarist Andy Carini showed up outside of Rik's apartment/studio. The Cribb was formed and ready to win over audiences. They recently finished recording 13 songs for their first album, "Theo Wilson Square", named after the area in Los Angeles where the band lives, practices and recorded.
